Picture Christmas Eve. A child tears off the wrapping paper, and there it is: the marble run that was at the top of the wish list. It came from a playroom somewhere else in the country. Maybe from yours?
Det gode juletreet is now open! It's a Christmas initiative from Loopyty, where children from all over Norway hang up their wishes, and others can grant them with toys they already have.

Maybe someone is wishing for a doll's house or a board game for four. And maybe that very toy is sitting unused in your playroom at home.
Would you like to give a present? Find a wish that matches a toy you have, or put a toy under the tree so a child can choose it. Let your children help decide! Wrap it like a proper Christmas present. When a child has chosen it, Loopyty arranges the shipping, and you'll be told whether the present will be collected from your home or should be dropped off at a pickup point nearby. Your gift only costs the shipping. You already have the toy.
Do your children have a Christmas wish? Create an account and hang up to three wishes per child. The wishes are anonymous: the tree only shows the wish, and a picture of the toy if you add one. Others choose which wishes they grant. That means no one can promise that every wish will come true. It's a good idea to talk to your children about this beforehand.
The tree is open from 1 November to 23 December. If a wish is granted by 15 December, the present has plenty of time to arrive before Christmas Eve.
