Our collective purpose
We made circularity fun — a marketplace with playful touches you earn through real actions, never through algorithms or addictive tricks.
Why Loopyty exists
Parents are busy. Kids don't always want to part with their treasures. Between the two, most well-loved toys never get passed on — they disappear into the attic or the garage, slowly losing their charm, and far too many end up in landfill.
We built Loopyty to change that. We put the toy at the centre — its story, its journey, the child who loved it — so the sentiment stays alive while the toy keeps moving. A toy that's looped is a toy that's still loved, just by someone new. That's a lot better than one that's stored until it's forgotten.
What Loopyty is — and how we run it
Loopyty is a platform: a marketplace and service that makes it easy to keep toys circulating. We've added playful, game-like touches to make that fun — badges for what you've done, a tree that grows with the CO2 you've saved. But those touches are the reward for doing real things, never a trick to keep you hooked. Here's how we run it:
- No algorithms deciding what you see. No feed steering you, no manipulation.
- No advertising. Nobody pays to reach you here. No ads, no sponsored toys, no one buying your attention — just families and toys.
- No addictive tricks. No punishing streaks, no endless scroll, no guilt. Put it down whenever you like — nothing is lost.
You earn your place by doing real things — listing a toy, passing one on, welcoming a family into your circle.
The rewards reflect real impact, not screen time. Your badges show what you've done; your tree shows the CO2 you and your community have saved.
Simple enough for a child
We made listing and taking part as easy for a kid as for a busy parent. A child can do it themselves — pop up a toy, watch it find a new home, earn a badge — or a parent can, or you can simply hand the task over. On Loopyty, the job can be delegated. That's the point: everyone in the family can take part in keeping toys in the loop.
