Do I have to set up a payout account before I can sell?

Your money's in a super-safe vault

Loopyty uses something called Stripe to look after the money. It's the same super-safe system loads of the biggest companies use — think Scrooge McDuck's money vault, but for your pocket money. No sneaky ducks can get in, and your cash goes straight to you.

And here's a bonus: setting it up also proves you're a real person. So everyone can see who's verified — real families, not strangers.

Two ways to do it

Do it right away. Get it out of the way, and then it's only two clicks for the buyer — no waiting on you to finish the task.
Or do it later. Let's be honest — setting up payment is a bit like homework, not the fun part! So you can put it off. When someone's interested in your toy, they'll send you a little nudge to let you know. But then you do have to do it — because if you don't, your toy misses its chance to find a new home, and you miss out on your pocket money. And since checking your ID takes a moment, doing it early means nobody's left waiting. Don't leave a buyer hanging!

How to set it up

Head to Settings, or tap the banner notification you'll see on your dashboard (you'll also spot it on the last step of listing a toy). Then it's two quick steps:

Fill in your details. Pop in your info and your IBAN (that's just your professional bank account number that you can find in your online bank account) — so your money can land in your account.
Verify with your ID. Show us who you are. This keeps everyone on Loopyty real and safe — no strangers, only proper real people.

And that's it! Set up once, and your pocket money finds its way to you every time.
