Sending a toy — Helthjem collects it for you
Once a toy is adopted, getting it to its new home is easy — you just get it ready for the journey.
It all starts when you list a toy and someone adopts it.
Sit back and wait for the message
Collecting and delivering is entirely Helthjem's job. We're simply connected to them, so the moment your toy is adopted the pickup is booked automatically. You'll get a message from Helthjem — an email and a text with everything you need, including your pickup code.
How to send a sold toy in three steps
- Write the code on the parcel. It arrives by email and text after the sale — and it's always under Orders too. Write it clearly on the outside — add the new family's name too, if you like.
- Put the parcel out by 23:00. Your email says where — on the doormat or in your postbox. Then you're done for the night.
- Helthjem collects overnight. They pick it up from your door while you sleep and carry it off to its new home. Greener than a drive of your own, and nobody meets a stranger.
A little difficult to let go?
For anyone who finds it a little hard to let go, we've made a sweet send-off. Check the passport, wrap it safely and place it as instructed. Purely cosmetic — but a fun way to make each handover feel a little special.
The toy's journey carries on
The new family gets it delivered and unwraps it — and your toy's next chapter begins. It's a lovely moment for the kids at both ends: they can check the toy's passport in Hall of fame, see everywhere it's been and where it has gone to, and a new stamp is added to its story. And the money follows on its own — once Helthjem picks the toy up, your payout is on its way.
PS — send it with a little magic and get rewarded
Pack it with care — a tidy parcel, maybe a note tucked inside. Do it well, and when the new family leaves a review they might reward you with a badge — Eco-hero, Honest seller or Magic unboxer. Magic unboxer is the hard one to earn, high up the tree, so it really means something.
